Must Wedding Shoes Be White?

White wedding shoes are the finishing touch to looking like Cinderella on a fairytale day. Beneath a flowing gown, white wedding shoes propel the bride along the way. Choose pumps to walk the aisle in sophisticated style. A peep-toe adds a romantic touch. Incorporate the elegance of bow embellishments, dainty slingback designs, or both. But does the wedding shoes must be white?

The answer is "NO". You don't absolutely have to. In fact, many brides having gone conventional with the white dress -- choose to have a little more fun with their wedding footwear. You could have your shoes be your "something blue," or pick a metallic pair that matches with your jewelry or the embellishment on your gown. Or you can go really crazy with footwear that matches your interests: I've seen brides walk down the aisle in everything from biker boots to custom-made cowboy boots.

I love this idea because let's face it you are never going to wear the white shoes again. Also, if your wedding is in fall, the colors are warm neutral colors (chocolate brown, copper, gold ect.)...no reds specifically, so maybe you can choose a yellow or orange shoes. Or if you are too tall to wear heals with your dress so the boots were a perfect choice and you can mix it with blue uppers and a big white cross on the front. No matter what it's color, you're sure to put your best foot forward.
